Electronic transcripts

Rutgers University recommends that you ask your school to send official transcripts via an electronic transcript service. If you are a current student, you can access, review, and print unofficial transcripts. However, if you are a former student or alumnus, you will need to request an official transcript.

Official transcripts are available through the Office of the Registrar and can be requested by visiting transcripts.rutgers.edu. Before requesting a transcript, current students will need a NetID to log in and make a request, while former students and alumni will need their RUID number, or their Social Security Number and date of birth. If you do not know your RUID number, you can retrieve it from identityservices.rutgers.edu.

Official electronic transcripts can be requested by going to transcripts.rutgers.edu. If a form (e.g. AMCAS, LSAT, etc.) needs to be included with the transcript, have it ready to include in your request.

Please allow three to five business days for all processing from the date the Office of the Registrar, Rutgers–Newark, receives your transfer request. For international requests, please allow up to three weeks to receive an official transcript by postal mail.
