MacLellan also co-founded Forerunner Playwrights Theatre, a Halifax company, and served as the artistic producer of Ship's Company Theatre in Parrsboro, NS, where she premiered eight new scripts. She moved to Fredericton, NB, in the fall of 2018 to take on the role of Artistic Director at Theatre New Brunswick.
