The sixth episode of Hetalia: Axis Powers, which was broadcast on February 27, 2009, marked the formal debut of Austria outside of the Chibitalia segments. In the anime/manga/web comic Hetalia, Hungary is a secondary character and the personification of Hungary. She is given the name Elizabeta Héderváry by the manga artist, Hidekaz Himaruya, in 2008.
