The park spans nearly eight acres and includes a playground, gazebo, stage, picnic tables, benches, open green spaces, and a 0.6-mile paved multi-use path. Founders Park is a popular venue for special events and gatherings, with an adjacent 2,100-square-foot recreation building available for rent. The park is currently undergoing renovations to add a splash pad, amphitheater, restrooms, an improved playground, and a veterans memorial.

Cypress Cove Park, previously named Sturgeon Creek Park, is made up of 27 acres of wetlands and 1.2 acres of uplands.
