You can reserve your seat at the same time as booking your ticket up to a year before departure, or at any other time up to 48 hours before departure under 'My Bookings'.

Checking in online

You can check in online with Austrian Airlines from 47 hours before your scheduled departure from and to Vienna. You can identify yourself using your name and 6-digit booking code, your 13-digit e-ticket number, or your frequent flyer programme details. You can then select your favourite seat on the seat map. You can also select a seat for people travelling with you. If you have booked a charter flight with Austrian Holidays, check in via the tab with the same name. You can save your boarding pass on your smartphone or print it out. You can also use the Austrian App for iOS and Android to check in and always have your mobile boarding pass to hand.
