Harvest Caye's Breakaway Dock

The Norwegian Breakaway docks at Harvest Caye, a private island in southern Belize, owned by Norwegian Cruise Line. The ship can dock at the island, meaning passengers can walk straight off the ship onto the island, without needing to transfer via boat. The pier connecting the ship to the island is covered, and it takes around 10-15 minutes to walk. Alternatively, passengers can hitch a ride on a golf cart.

The beach

There are clamshells available to rent for $30 a day, and hammocks are also available, though there are only a few of these. Rent a float pad and float in the warm waters, play a game of beach volleyball, or play a game of jumbo-sized chess.
