Kesha's 2025 Australian visit
Kesha is set to return to Australia in 2025, seven years after her last performance in the country. The US pop star will perform at the 'House of Kesha', a one-night-only event at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on 23 January 2025. The event will feature some of Kesha's most popular hits as well as new music. Tickets for the event went on sale on 11 October 2024 at 10 am local time.
In addition to her Sydney show, Kesha will also be making an appearance at the 2025 Australian Open, held from 6 to 26 January at Melbourne Park. This will be her second performance in Australia for the year.
Kesha's return to Australia has been highly anticipated, with her previous tour dates in the country being rescheduled multiple times due to unforeseen circumstances. In 2018, Kesha cancelled her planned shows in Australia due to knee surgery and later rescheduled the dates. However, she had to cancel the already rescheduled Taipei show and her four-date China tour due to difficulties acclimatizing to the food and weather.
Kesha's 2025 performances in Australia mark a new chapter in her career, as she has recently launched her own independent record label, Kesha Records, through Warner Music Group's independent distribution arm, ADA. This move allows her to retain full ownership and creative control over her music. Her latest single, "Joyride", was released under her new label, and she has an album set for release in 2025.

In February 2018, Kesha announced that her planned shows in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Japan were postponed due to an imminent knee surgery to repair her torn ACL. On 23 March 2018, she announced the rescheduled dates for her shows in Australia and Asia, which were set to take place in October. 2016-17 Fuck the World Tour
Kesha and the Creepies: Fuck the World Tour was the third headlining concert tour by American singer Kesha, which started in Las Vegas on July 23, 2016. The tour, which Kesha created "for the pure love of rock n' roll", travelled throughout North America and was extended to Asia, with three shows in China in October 2016.
Kesha described the tour as follows:
> So, for a short ride and in mostly intimate venues, I will be performing a new creepy creation. It's been too long. Songs you've never heard me play before and I may never play again.
The setlist changed several times during the tour, with songs being removed and replaced. Kesha's shows in China were typical pop shows, using the setlist from The Warrior Tour. She also performed "Stephen" for the first time in six years and a cover of Nick Jonas' "Jealous".
Kesha was inspired to create the tour following a legal dispute with her former producer and longtime collaborator, Dr. Luke, which put her career on hold. In February 2016, New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich ruled against Kesha's request for a preliminary injunction that would release her from her contract with Kemosabe Records, a label owned by Lukasz Gottwald (Dr. Luke), under the umbrella of Sony Music Entertainment.
