'The Waterfront' Season 2: Late 2026 or early 2027
As of late June 2025, Netflix has not yet renewed The Waterfront for a second season. The streaming service is likely to wait a few months to assess the show's performance before making a decision. > I would love very much a chance to write Season 2, because I feel like I’m just getting started with this story and this family. There’s a whole second season that I have planned out, and a third season, quite frankly. I’m hoping I get the chance to tell those stories. I do think it’s a fun show, and it’s unlike anything I’ve ever done, and I just hope people enjoy it.
If renewed, the second season of The Waterfront could arrive as early as summer 2026, or sometime in late 2026 or early 2027.
