The Final Shape is the eighth expansion and the seventh year of extended content for Destiny 2, concluding the first major saga of the franchise, the "Light and Darkness" saga. Ahead of its release, players could preload the expansion during a 25-hour maintenance period. The standard edition of The Final Shape includes a new story campaign, three new Supers, a new destination, new weapons and armour to collect, and one Episode in the year of The Final Shape.
