What You'll Learn

Son-uva Digger, driven by Ryan Anderson
Son-uva Digger is a 1950 Willy's Panel Jeep monster truck co-owned by FELD Motorsports and Anderson Boys Racing. It debuted in the 1990s as a mud truck driven by Ryan Anderson and his brother Adam. The truck was originally intended to debut at the start of the 2011 season, but Ryan sustained an injury that prevented him from driving. Son-uva Digger made its official debut at World Finals XII in March 2011, with Ryan behind the wheel.
Ryan Anderson is a four-time Monster Jam World Finals champion and is known for his bicycles, saves, and insane freestyles, making him one of the most popular drivers in the sport. He is the son of Dennis Anderson, a former champion himself, and brother to Adam Anderson, a five-time champion and world record holder. Ryan has been driving monster trucks since 2011, with his debut at World Finals XII, where he landed a perfect backflip, one of the most iconic moments in monster truck history.
In 2012, Ryan made his World Finals main field debut at World Finals XIII. During the Grave Digger 30th-anniversary encore, he suffered a broken neck and was unable to compete until November of that year. Despite this setback, he went on to win multiple racing and freestyle championships, including the freestyle competition at the final event of the season in Minneapolis.
Son-uva Digger is returning to Australia in October 2025, along with other monster trucks like El Toro Loco and Megalodon. Ryan Anderson will face off against his brother Adam, in what is being billed as the ultimate sibling showdown, with fans deciding the outcome.
