Belize's nightlife is among the best in the Caribbean and perhaps even Central America. The country is known for its amazing tropical beaches, huge natural forests, and mouthwatering seafood, but its nightclubs are also a big draw for tourists. Belize's club scene is largely concentrated in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, although alternative clubs can be found in Placencia, Hopkins, and Ladyville.

San Pedro is a great place for night owls to take in the sights and meet new people. There's something for everyone, from karaoke to dancing to drinking. The Belize party scene isn't as wild as some other parts of the Caribbean, but there's always a party to be found if you're looking for one.

The bar is fully stocked and closes at 10 pm. Red Ginger, aside from being a nice restaurant, has an upstairs bar that is perfect for pre-gaming. They offer half-price wine specials on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and close at 9:30 pm. Havana Cigars, located in downtown San Pedro, is a cosy cigar bar with a great atmosphere and a good selection of alcohol. It usually stays open until midnight.

Beach Bars

Wayo's 2.0 is located on the dock in front of their old location, so you can sit right over the water. It is a great mixture of locals, expats, and tourists with TVs to watch sports games and live music on Sunday nights. Sandy Toes, located just south of Wayo's, is a spot where locals, expats, and tourists mingle. It is also one of the more family-friendly bars, offering good bar food and chairs on the beach so you can dip your toes in the sand while you enjoy your drinks. They also offer different live music entertainment options during the week and sometimes bring in guest DJs, which usually appeal to a younger crowd and turn into a full-on beach party.

Sports Bars

Lola's Pub is a small Chicago-style pub that is popular for its drink selection and air-conditioned setting. It is a cosy spot that is frequented by locals and expats. Croc's Sunset Bar and Grill is located less than a mile north of San Pedro's bridge and is a great spot for sporting events with a good drink selection. Locals, tourists, and expats love it here. Sidelines Sports Bar is a new and upcoming bar, great for sports and mingling with the locals. It is one of the only places that can regularly stay open after midnight because it is enclosed. Sunset Lounge is a new and popular spot located on the rooftop of the same building as Sidelines Sports Bar. It has a lively ambiance and the perfect backdrop for Instagram! They are open from Wednesday to Saturday. Intro Lounge has an exclusive and fancy vibe and is a great late-night spot since it opens past midnight. Nook Restaurant & Cocktail Bartique is located on Front Street, across from Central Park. This funky restaurant can also be used as a lounge, offering drinks and late-night bites.

Night Clubs

Jaguar's, located in the centre of town, is the most popular nightclub in San Pedro. It is also the only nightclub that opens after midnight, so it tends to be very popular.
