Plot summary
In Pitch Perfect 2, the Barden Bellas are faced with a challenge: after a disastrous performance for President Obama's birthday that ends with Amy's revealing solo, they are suspended from performing in any a cappella showcases representing their college. The Bellas' leader, Beca Mitchell, makes a deal that allows them to be reinstated if they win the World A Cappella Championship in Copenhagen—a competition no American group has ever won.
Beca also starts a secret recording studio internship, where she impresses her boss with her mashup skills for Snoop Dogg's Christmas album. She is given the chance to become a producer, but her secret is soon found out by Fat Amy, who advises her to tell the other Bellas.
