What You'll Learn

Open Settings
To make Siri Australian, you'll need to open the Settings app on your device. This process differs depending on whether you're using an iOS or macOS device.
IOS
If you're using an iOS device, such as an iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app and tap on "Siri & Search". From there, select "Siri Voice" under the "Ask Siri" section. Here, you'll be able to choose between Male or Female under Gender, and American, Australian, British, Irish, or South African under Accents.
MacOS
For macOS, the process is similar. Open System Preferences and click on the "Siri" icon. Then, click on "Siri Voice" and select the accent and gender you prefer. In addition to the options available on iOS, macOS offers female Irish and South African accents.
Preview and Download
Regardless of your platform, you'll be able to preview Siri's accent and gender before finalizing your selection. If the accent or gender you choose isn't already downloaded, it will start downloading when you tap on it. You can monitor the progress of voice downloads at the bottom of the menu. It's important to wait for the download to complete before navigating away from the menu, unless you change your mind about your selection.
