Martin's Point Health Care offers a range of services at its Health Care Centers in Maine and New Hampshire. Lab services

Laboratory services are available at select Martin's Point Health Care Centers in Maine and New Hampshire. These services are quick and easy, allowing your doctor to order your lab work and retrieve your results promptly. Most lab tests are processed in-house and can be completed within 24 hours. If a test cannot be performed in-house, it is sent to Quest Laboratories.

As a patient, you can visit any of the Martin's Point locations to have your lab work done. All lab services are by appointment during the lab hours of the location. Before your appointment, your doctor will inform you if your test requires you to fast. If you are having a fasting blood test, you should not consume anything except water, black coffee, or tea for the 12 hours prior to your blood draw. You may still take your morning medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.

The labs are owned and operated by Martin's Point, and many of the sites offer convenient weekend and evening hours. All sites accept most major health insurance plans.

Pharmacy

Martin's Point Pharmacies are located within the Portland and Portsmouth Health Care Center locations. They are open to both patients and the general public. The pharmacies are open during regular business hours and offer a 24-hour refill service.

Martin's Point Health Care Center Pharmacies are part of a network of over 67,000 pharmacies, including Hannaford Pharmacies and CVS Pharmacies, which offer preferred cost-sharing. This means that members of Generations Advantage Prime, Select, and Access receive medications at lower copays than at pharmacies with standard cost sharing.

Martin's Point also offers a mail-order pharmacy service, which can be used for long-term, maintenance medications. Members may receive up to a 90-day supply of medication for one copayment per prescription.
